Zaire Aquil Lodge, 45, is charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of receipt of child pornography, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. Police arrested him on Monday, Jan. 23, and he will be held in federal custody, pending further notice.

Investigators said Lodge employed, used, persuaded, induced and coerced three minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child porn. And knowingly received the offensive material between February through October 2021, federal authorities said.

Zaire was arrested on Jan. 23, 2023 and appeared in federal court in Boston today for a detention hearing before U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Judith G. Dein, who has taken the matter under advisement. Lodge was remanded to federal custody until further notice.

Lodge faces 15 to 30 years behind bars for each count of exploitation of children and another 5 years for receiving child porn, the prosecutor said.
